Every day’s unchanged
Nothing new to rival
When words are just misplaced
The voice within you dies

Running from myself
Pushing those around me
Trapped inside a mindset
I never can escape

Free me from this darkness
This void that fills me whole
Substituted truth attaining
Simulated pleasantry

Can’t explain the feeling
Or simplify my pain
What more can be done?
For no more can I gain.

Crying on the inside
A girl inside me dies
One last breath she takes
Wishing more from life

Sorry I have failed you
Sorry I don’t smile
Sorry everything inside me
Just never was enough…

This piece frustrates me still, even though I have submitted it as a final piece. I'm not too sure why...perhaps I feel its depth is lost? Nonetheless, here it is...

Hey babe, I just read it...it did have a huge impact on me, the entire way through the poem I was going this is me, this is how I feel, u put it into words. Other than that I cannot think of anything intelligent to say, so I will get back to u very soon with a good comment :)
